9. THE QUESTION WAS: What book of the Bible
was Luther referring to when he said: I feel an aversion to it, and to me this
is a sufficient reason for rejecting it.
THE ANSWER IS: the Book of Revelations
Heres what Luther said about the Book of Revelations: to my mind it bears upon it no marks of an apostolic or prophetic character Everyone may form his own judgment of this book; as for myself, I feel an aversion to it, and to me this is sufficient reason for rejecting it. Here
is a terrific article by Dave Armstrong, whose research and writing has
illuminated the Catholic perspective of Martin Luther.
