Extra Extra!

Are you engaged or married? Hope to be engaged in the future? Want to learn Natural Family Planning, the only moral and Church-approved method of spacing childbirths? Here are two opportunities:

1. Sympto-Thermal Method is taught by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. The course was developed by the Diocese of Harrisburg, With this method, the couple charts both the wife's ovulation symptoms (cervical secretions) and her temperature, to gain an accurate picture of their monthly fertile days. For more info or to register for a class, call 215-587-5639.

2. Creighton Model Fertility Care System: This is an "ovulation method" system whereby the couple tracks the wife's ovulation symptoms. This sytem is veyr precise, and is especially helpful for diagnosis and treatment of couples who might have issues like infertility, miscarriage, PMS, or postpartum depression. See www.fertilitycarefriends.org for more info to contact local Creighton System teachers.

There is so much to do for Catholics in their 20s and 30s, both single & married. On just about every night of the week, there are multiple Catholic Bible studies to choose from…..not to mention service projects, young adult Masses, faith-sharing groups and social events of every type….dances, happy hours, talent shows, ski trips, museum trips, movie nights, game nights, pizza nights, beach trips, trips to Washington and New York, etc.

But to join in the fun, well, you have to show up. Don’t wait until you have someone to go with….I know people that have been waiting for years to find someone to go with, and, well….. now they are bitter, demented hermits…..J  It’s the people that just showed up that are reaping all the benefits, and who now have an extra 50 friends to accompany them to other events. Many even met the love of their life. But that is not a good reason to go.

Just shoot an e-mail to some of these groups and ask to get on their e-mailing list so you are informed of weekly activities. Or browse their web sites. To get on the list for JacksYacs in Center City, just email jyacs@yahoo.com.

Remember, the names & phone numbers of all churches are available at www.masstimes.org
