CATHOLIC TEENS                           StillCatholic.com

Teens want to know what is right and wrong.

They have a right to have their questions answered.

They have a right to the truth.

Where can you find the truth?

Can truth be found by looking at what various friends are doing?

Or can truth be found through the Church that Jesus founded on Peter two thousand years ago?

Let's see what Jesus said about that.

In the Bible, Jesus is recorded as saying the Holy Spirit will guide the Church into "all the truth."

In the Bible, the Church is also called "the pillar and bulwark of truth."

This site contains multiple links to sites that answer questions many teens have.

The Catholic Church was founded by Jesus Himself to guide us and help us all stay in His graces, so that we can have eternal life. The Church’s teaching of chastity, for one, was handed down from God for our own happiness, and will greatly benefit one’s future marriage, future husband or wife, and one’s future children.

Staying close to the Church and meeting Christ in the sacraments are really the only ways to get the supernatural, heavenly strength and love we need to turn away from sins that separate us from God. When you arrive at college, make time for church socials, service groups and prayer groups. Make friends who are devout. Force yourself to get to confession. Form a daily Mass breakfast club. Pray each night.

Remember, every one of us was created for the purpose of loving God with our whole heart. Every one of us was born to die and to enter into full union with God, which is the only thing that can bring eternal happiness.
